The device can be used both with RTD temperature probes and thermocouples as well as with resistance transmitters/potentiometers and voltage/current signals – and converts these input signals into an output signal of 0(2) to 10 V or 0(4) to 20 mA. The universal measurement input with 22-bit resolution ensures maximum measuring precision with the JUMO dTRANS T06. The reliable three-way isolation between input and output guarantees high signal stability even when measuring conditions are difficult.

In safety relevant applications – which are often found in plant engineering, power plant technology, or the chemical industry – the dTRANS T06 with the SIL option according to IEC 61508 allows for the project planning of a reliable temperature measuring chain. This is designed for SIL 3 in terms of software and for SIL 2 in terms of hardware. JUMO SIL temperature sensors are optimally incorporated in the device concept so that the planning efforts are reduced for the SIL design.

In case a laptop is not available, the device can be quickly and easily configured in a user-friendly manner via a monochrome LCD display on the front with four keys in four different languages. Another benefit for startup on-site is the configuration-related display of the sensor input and sensor output assignment as well as the relay and interface assignment on the display.

The transducer can be configured even more quickly and easily via the micro-USB socket on the front using configuration software and a laptop. Additionally, customer-specific linearization adjustments are available.

The extensive diagnosis functions of the JUMO dTRANS T06, such as a min./max. drag indicator function, support the user with both startup and maintenance work.

Important limit value violations can be indicated using an optionally available relay output. All the important information regarding the transmitter can be queried and visualized through control systems via an optionally available RS-485 interface. The dTRANS T06 is available in power supply versions for 24 V (DC) and 110 to 230 V (AC).
